A tutorial I decided to make following the creation of my helmet over the summer of 2011, for Halloween. This is made to be like the helmet of Thomas Bangalter.
This is my first time ever working with some of these materials, and first time trying to build something like this.
The build is entierly my own creation, any likeness towards the original helmets used by Thomas Bangalter is coincidental, and is purely a fan based art.
*note* The scrolling LED belt buckle was disassembled, with the outer casing taken off and only the board, battery terminals & lights used. The ears were good old fashioned drinks cans, the ends cut off to size, and the sharp edges smoothed out.
oh i srry i meant the lights on the ears

@AlisalTrojan44 Some flashing LED drinks glasses I bought online. I removed the bottom from them which contained the lights, power and circuit board, and glued these in to the helmet. The downside is that they will run out of power after around a day...so a better option would e some LED chaser lights available online.

@AlisalTrojan44 Drinks cans, these were coke cans but once they are a similar diameter, that will be ok.
