the reason many of you think that was funny is because you know it was a different time. but you were not born yet, therefore dont appreciate what is was like to live then. t.v. was aware of all the profanity and vulgarity of society. it provided an alternative with squeaky clean tv. it was not as real as society now or then. its point was to provide a diversion to the reality of a more harsh society. a younger generation seems to relish mocking it all. you are entitled. but not tasteful
