@recruitmentch I think you take his cocky attitude FAR too seriously..he was a very personable and likeable guy...it was his 'Ol big Ead'ness that made him so popular and so fondly remembered, like Muhammad Ali..Cloughy knew how good he was and enjoyed telling people, but he didnt take himself that seriously and was a lovely guy. Nearly everyone who knew him liked him.
Besides, what would you prefer....sincere vanity or false modesty?

@shyjames83 people can achieve the very same thing in many different ways. I do not agree with his attitude. I think like a mourinho or ferguson, his attitude stinks. at the same time you look at a guardiola, sacchi or a michels and they were and are wonderful humans. humble above all else. this man wouldn't know what humility is if it hit him right in the face. there are many ways to achieve success in life. he just happened to be a very good manager with an awful attitude.

@recruitmentch Do you realise who you are talking about? Yeah he had an ego, and he was damn well allowed to have with everything he accomplished.....'Twat'? the only English Manager in history to win back to back European Cups?
