Memories 1.m4v

This music written around 2003/2004 at Village Vibes Music Studio whilst I was studying my first use of melodic instruments with Alastair Van Schoor. It was programmed with the music application "Reason". The piece is based around the polyrhythmic feel of Zimbabwean marimbas and a strong back beat.

The images are a mixture of art works which I have chosen because they are of a happier mood. I thought they would be fitting for the cheeky melodies. The art is taken from the period between 1994 and 2006. Thanks to Ben Sailly for taking the photographs.
