how do u steal the ball while your on deffensive locked on the ball handler;)

Press X (steal button) when the ball is being passed to the player. Also press the Left-Thumbstick in the direction of where the ball is coming from while pressing X so you can get a midair steal & start the break while already on the move.

at 3:18, they do that to me all the time and i cant do anything about it. plz help, thats the cpu's only offensive manuver.

One of the ways to counter the cpu when this happens is to switch & play Off Ball defense or see the backdoor cut & anticipate the pass in order to steal while playing On Ball.

You should be able to offline as well. Just go to the matchup screen & choose who to double & when to double them. You can also set that up on the fly or during time-outs in the quick Matchup Screen.

for some reason i cant automatically put my players to double a player online... but i can in a offline match why?
