Welcome to the teaching studio of Cherri Hankins, in Richmond, Va.
Cherri teaches weaving on the floor loom, spinning yarn from the spinning wheel,wet-felting, drop spindling, rigid heddle weaving, tapestry weaving, kumihimo, and sewing. Occasionally, we have dye workshops in the studio, and are hoping to expand to offering crochet, knitting, needlepoint, and much more.
Cherri has been a fiber artist for 18 years, and has been teaching fiber art for 15 years.
You can see that there are 24" floor looms, 45" floor looms, and a variety in between. All the floor looms are jack looms, except the two free standing tapestry looms.
Weaving classes, lessons and workshops.
