Jackie Evancho & Barbra Streisand ~ "Somewhere"

Vocalist Jackie Evancho is only 11 years old but she's already working with legends. The pop-opera prodigy is set on June 14 to release her first full-length album titled "Dream with Me" and one of the tracks is a duet with Barbra Streisand.

"Jackie is a crossover artist," says David Foster, who produced the track. "At that young age she already has pretty definite ideas of who she is and what she wants to do."

Streisand's vocals were recorded in 1985 for a session she had with Foster; she wasn't in the studio when Evancho recorded her new vocals, but approved her singing partner.

Don't assume that is why they mixed these together, its an awesome awesome mix of the 2. FYI, Barbra has a hard time performing in public. PS she isn't the only awesome singer out there that has problems with performing in public. She is legend, don't mess with perfection.

I understand why Natalie Cole did a duet with her late dad this way...OK...So Barbara is still alive...why not a REAL duet without a karaoke version of Barbara's arrangement?? Jackie is impressive at only 11 and lacks the experience to utilize her talented voice. It almost sounds unatural when she hits the high notes.
