Two artists that designed the landscapes, creatures, map designs, and almost all the art of the Lord of the Rings.

  • I know he did, I didn't make the video, it was on the special features of the dvd.

  • For some reason I find Alan lee's voice really relaxing O.o

  • Not to nitpick, but these guys did more than the landscapes

John Howe designed a good chunk of the fantastical elements of the movies, especially anything to do with Mordor (Sauron's Tower, the Fell Beasts the Nazgul ride on in the 2nd and 3rd films, Minas Morgul, etc)

And Alan Lee did a ton of stuff to (Rivendell, the Elves in general, etc) He even did work on the Special Edition DVDs and Jackson's kick ass adaptation of King Kong.

  • @klizzard359 Hahaha, actually i was looking for a video just to listening his voice.. haha :P

  • Alan Lee and John Howe are amazing guys. Pretty much geniuses, along with Richard Taylor and Peter Jackson. What a team.

  • Dartmoor is a massive expanse of moorland in the middle of Devon, its not a village.

  • @klizzard359 Me too haha!

  • I want to listen to Alan Lee read me a bedtime story.

  • It sort of arose out of the fallout from the hippie movement ... people tying to live lives anew as they made real their fantasies.

  • 0:03 Why'd you flip me off, Peter?!? Haha XD

  • great artist!!!!
