You're most welcome. I find myself returning to this often. Yes, he was an incurable romantic. He lived and loved during that late 18th century period--the dawning of Romanticism--and was much affected by those influences. How strange and frightening it must have been for him to find himself in the "modern" world of 1967. I believe the reason that he seemed to "adjust" so well was that intense fear he had lurking just beneath the surface. He learned by studying people and their actions.

Well said, T.B.! Today's generation of younger men could certainly take a lesson from that romanticism. Instead of buying "Impressing Women: For Dummies", all they need to do is to watch the gallant actions and romantic nature of our favorite vampire. :)

I think they should've been a couple indeed. They looked great together and not only that but I think Barnabas and Victoria had a little bit more chemistry than Barnabas and Maggie/Josette.

A masterpiece! 1795 Barnabas holding 1960's Victoria was a stunning accomplishment. As always, you do such soft and clear finish work. These characters never looked more romantic. What you have done is to give the images a timeless quality. I'm one who wished Barnabas happiness with whomever he chose. He was such an elegantly romantic character, splendidly portrayed by Jonathan Frid. In your videos we see the good man that Barnabas was and could be. I much prefer this side of Barnabas.
