This is our newest spot for the SIU Alumni Association. It features the voice of past president, Delyte Morris.

  • SIU's mascot is the saluki (dog). Therefore, at the end of the day all SIU alumni are salukis.

  • i Love You SIUC, I want to be a SIU Student How ? I am VU student :(

  • Yeah ... I guess.

Don't get me wrong. I think that Barking Dawg does visually excellent work. But I just seems like they find something that is cool looking, and then the turn it into an "image" spot.

In my opinion when an ad is not measurable, quantifiable, its ineffective. At least work in some call to action. "Image" spots, for most clients are a waste of money.

Barking Dawg will really impress me when their commercials are more than just eye candy.

  • The ad is targeted to alum and I believe alum will get that this is the voice of Delyte Morris. I am an alum and I never heard his voice before, but when I viewed this video I assumed it was his voice.

  • If this ad is broadcast on tevelvision, how will people know that is the voice of past president, Delyte Morris? That is a cool element that will be lost on the viewer.

  • What is up with the dog at the end?

Is there some significance to it?

  • love it!

  • love it!
