Dodge Ram 5.9 Exhaust (Flowmaster 40)

1999 dodge ram sport 4x4 5.9. 3 inch lift on 35s and an air raid cold air intake. 40 series flowmaster (si/do) with a stock cat. I'm getting a new exhaust system soon so i put this up for comparison. its my first vid so sorry about the editing and not revving it all that loud, it sounded loud from inside but i guess its not lol

hey i have a 99 ram 4x4 with the factory 1.5-2in lift on it and im thinking about putting a 3in body lift on it. do you think it would be as tall or even taller than this one? thanks.

nice lookin truck. ive gone through 3 exhaust systems, a thrush glasspack, straight pipe, and finally settled on the cherry bomb extreme with 3in tailpipes with 5in chrome tips coming out the back at 45 degree angles.

i had a truck just liek this one, sport, red, everything! but 2 weeks after getting the truck i rolled it due to an idiot that ran me off the road. i miss that truck :(

I got a 99 4x4 sport 5.9, headers, no cat, strait pipes with two incenerator 2 mufflers.And it sounds mean as hell. Had flowmasters for last 5 years and was ofcourse mean as hell to, but them incenrators are just as loud but have a lower throatier grawl. Definatly worth a look if your in the market for a new muffler, was very pleased with mine.

I know your post is old, but no one gave you an answer. With the 5.9 magnum engine your looking at 10-13mpg city, and 17 o so on the highway. These things arent made for gas mileage thats for sure lol.
