Perhaps even morally bankrupt Canberra will be saved by the presence in it of the real mass. May God guide the unbelievers who run the country and give them the grace of conversion.

Wow, beautiful, heavenly!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Holy Father!!!

@inheremo They are timeless rather than old and indicative of the traditional Mass. Of course, if you mean the personnel, there is a new priest now, in the last 1/2 year, (who is also FSSP and of that same high calibre), but the Mass will always be as it is here in terms of traditional Latin liturgy .

The choir seems to like the Missa Brevis as well.and the Byrd Mass for 3 voices..

Kyrie from the Missa Papae Marcelli by Palestrina

What's the music playing in the background?

Midnight Mass at Christmas is at midnight . The choir is small, but very good. The sung Mass is at Garran on Sunday and other feast days--Gregorian Chant and Renaissance polyphony, masses and motets. . Very beautiful.
UPDATE: The Sunday 8:30 AM Traditional Latin Mass in Canberra is no longer celebrated at the St John the Evangelist Chapel, John XXIII College, ANU (not for a while, actually...) BUT NOW the Sunday 8:30 AM Mass is said on the northside in Campbell at St Thomas More's! The sung Latin Mass at 11:30 on Sunday is still at Garran on the southside....

No, this is the FSSP, The Priestly Fraternity of St Peter, a Catholic Society of Apostolic Life of priests and seminarians in good standing with the Holy See. The FSSP is a "Clerical Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right", meaning it was established by the Pope and is answerable to him, but local bishops govern the Fraternity's work in a diocese, also. Canberra's Traditional Latin Mass has Pontifical approval under 2007 motu proprio Summorum pontificum.
