"No noise canceling headphone will have 'better sound' than a non-noise canceling headphone of truly good quality. If you're not a frequent flyer or working in areas with a lot of background noise, you're probably better off not getting it. A good in-the-ear or over-the-ear headphone will provide sufficient outside noise isolation.
