The sound of the piece is much better in Chuck. Here with The Beatles is very monotonous.

My last hour of being "sweet little sixteen." It's amazing how quickly time flies by, isn't it? I'm gunna be 17 in less than an hour now, so I thought I would spend it with my favorite band ever.

You can clearly hear the attempt to create stereo effects from the original mono recording. It seems that it might be time to re evaluate the original tape and remaster it with the latest techniques, this time in the true original mono. This has not been worked on since the late 1970's to my knowledge. Cheers

There is. This whole concert was recorded from a single microphone then buried for 15 years. The Beatles thought the sound quality was absolutely hopeless, but when you're dealing with something as hot as this, miracles can be made possible. Lingasong Records invested $100,000 to clean up the tape as much as possible and reduce the audience noise in the background through a 16-track transfer and remix. Later, the vocals were brought more forward. Still, it's the Beatles, live, with Ringo.
