Comparing two wonderful SGs. I think they both sound great. They feel quite different, but that's not a bad thing. Unfortunately I had the input level on the Zoom H2 a little hot so there is some annoying mic distortion. Sorry about that. Both guitars are completely STOCK. I'm playing through my Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100 1960AV halfstack.

  • Great demo...The Gibson is less muddy with a more defined sound. I think it is quite easy to hear!

  • Thanks for the demo. The G400 sounds great for the price.

  • The do sound very similar. Too close. I own a Gibson SG Standard. I didn't care for the 498t bullshit and dropped in 57classics. Now, the allmans sound like the allmans! I scored a LP traditional plus and now my Sg is collecting dust. LOL! rock on!

  • Nice video man, you play só good! you rock!

  • Which is which?

  • Who gives a shit what type of guitar other people play. You play whatever feels right to you. I have the epiphone g400 sg and I love it. It has great sound and didnt cost a lot. People need to stop worrying about what other people do and just care about what they do.

  • I think you will find the first electric guitar was the epiphone electar mad in 1935. Epiphone
