has anyone heard about the warm stream in the gulf of mexico that had been totally cooled off becus of the oil spil (oil cools warm water). this theory states that thats the reason winters in europe and elsewhere are so harsh right now? anyone heard about this?

i think its very interesting to see that after years of earth warming up, the last years its cooling down. last 3 years have been enormous lot of ice and snow across the northern part of the globe. and this year winters freezing starts off at extreme level too! there has been so much and freezing the last 3 years that hot summers cant even melt all the ice built up in the winter.

I keep on trying to tell these people that anthropogenic climate change was happening way before Al Gore came along.

I was made aware of these problems as far back as the 70s; before the media jumped on board and before 'big oil' rolled out the misinformation to discredit the green movement.

It doesn't say a lot for the human race when a few simple lfestyle changes frightens them more than losing their health.

Without planet Earth there is no health.

why are these people suffering from tuberculosis? Are these people that far behind on civilization? Whose fault is it. Can't they be educated beyond the disasters of decades and decades ago? It's not like I would try to take away their culture or lifestyle, but to remain in complete ignorance and superstition about simple things that were conquered many years ago is ridiculous.
