Canning Stock Route-Bogged (dads vid)

It was going to be a quiet couple of weeks camping up the Canning Stock route with a few mates but 8 inches of rain turned the trip into a nightmare.Mearesey didn't have any barbecue fires but outside mealtimes the going was a bit tough.Fini had his new V8 Landcruiser-the first of the model to do the trip and (don't tell him) it was a beast of a machine-we really needed it.If you are ever going to get into a situation like we were in (where there is more mud than road)then buy one.Don't try this at home

Well pretty sure none of them were gonna splash out on a whole new set of whatever tyres when they didn't need them, and they obviously didn't or the vid wouldn't be on youtube would it. And "flash" would describe anything new, not neccessarily expensive.

MRF tyres are used on station property vehicles mate. They are very unflash...

They are tyres for outback offroad farm use. Not some city slicking wank.

Hard Yakka did shift those vehicles. They couldn't have walked out and there was no sat phone. If they didn't get out of that sitcho themselves they weren't getting out at all! All those blokes are born and bred country boys, they didn't need all your flash tyres and gizmos and that old cruiser came out the other side just fine

MRF 16 ply rag tyres are desert tyres

If it's a radial and tubeless it is useless

Split rims and 16 ply MRF tyres are the best..

All these people argue about tyres but those of us who know, know the truth.
