Angry Samoans - 1st time on New Wave Theatre 1980

The Angry Samoans on New Wave Theater. Steak Knife, Pictures of Matchstick Men, Inside My Brain and interview from around March 1980.
New Wave Theater was one of the few in Los Angeles who liked and appreciated the Angry Samoans.
They were on that show at least 4 different times, this was probably their 1st appearance.
Hopefully a better copy that is more stable will surface and get uploaded.

I thought the sound and performance was fine especially compared to the sound and mix of the last time on NWT (Gas Chamber and Not Of This Earth).

So this was done some time between March and June 80. I was hoping there were 5 appearances on NWT. Woulda been nice to hear Right Side, Asshole and or Get Off the Air.

Especially since Steak Knife was done twice, the later 4-piece version was not good.

So what are you saying around 2:20 I can't make it out?

the Inside My Brain jacket cover is a still from the final scene of the movie.....guy tries to ax-crush the black cat (which he had killed weeks ago in a drunken rage) that 's been terrorizing him from beyond the grave, but misses and killsz his wife through the head with the ax. oopsie!

The cover of Inside My Brain was taken from an old psycho movie from 1966 called The Black Cat.

Angry Samoans had a huge 2impact when our scene heard Inside My Brain in 1980.Several bands formed after hearing it ,Youth Korps,Youthful Offender.
