That's so dope he has a piece of wax with the time coding on one side and then normal vinyl on the other side!

hey nice demo DJ Qbert, i'm an ex dj from the mid 80's to mid 90's i never used aanything but records and im thinking of getting back into spining but not sure what to buy now...i dont have any equipment anymore. what would you go with for a beginner with a low budget in the new age of mixing these days? im a dinosaur and feel lost in todays world but i know i can pick it up in a heartbeat.

@Vanti5 Why I've watched this vid 10x is a mystery. ANYWAY lol occasionally mine hurt after like 12 hours of scratching. THEN I started binging on opiates....no problems then lol
traktor - more for the club dj and layering different samples and sounds in sync with one another. requires LOTS of time for beat gridding and getting those grids PERFECT. preparation is NECESSARY (i'm a traktor guy)
serato -more on the scratch and hip hop scene... parallel w-forms allow beat matching of non-consistent beats (think old school hip hop or live rock performances... where NOTHING is a constant BPM.. try to beat grid a Beatles song in traktor and you'll know what i mean haha.

@GeeksCreation Good point. I'd personally say Traktor for that BUT Serato still has a wide variety. The other good thing with Traktor is the 8 cuepoints instead of five, better for live mashups. Serato though is sort of more industry accepted though ya know? I also like the lower price tag of Traktor. The interface, SL is better but the Audio6/10 looks nicer. and @Drifting2458 It's vinyl emulation, that includes scratching and mixing. Loading depends on your CPU. so STFU. :)
