Catholic Apologist, Vic Scaravilli, sets the record straight. Using the Bible, common sense, and a bit of humor Vic debunks the popular anti-Catholic Chick Tract, "Are Roman Catholics Christians?"

After viewing this, you'll agree, that Roman Catholics are, indeed, Biblical Christians.

This is the first video done over two classes. The next class will be taped on Wednesday, June 13th, 2007.

  • @kristimjlove The word Catholic means Universal so the Catholic Church is the Universal Church. It is Christ one true church that he created and said hell will never prevail against it (Matthew 16: 13-20)

  • Also- why in the Bible is the world CATHOLIC not mentioned once?! Followers of Christ are NOT to be called Catholic, but Christians....it gives glory and recognition to Christ alone.

  • The Word of God capitalized refers to Jesus Christ, Second person of the Trinity, so you are correct.

  • Good point.

  • Women make themselves men? Who taught that?

  • You're not making any sense. Try using capitalization and punctuation, please. You will sound a bit more credible, at least. I can't make out what you are trying to say. That's why we use the rules of English. So we make sense.

  • Ephesians 2:8 states, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. so as the man said that the sacraments are what outward sign instituted by God to give grace but what does the bible the say gives grace it says its a gift now whats a gift something that is given freely no baby baptism mentioned there but i guess the "church" likes to contradict itself right? and what about how you receive salvation by what works oh no it says faith hmm

  • Excellent points...great teaching...thank you.
