Elfen Lied Review

My very first anime review I did, when I started reviewing anime.

One of the most touching anime I've seen, despite the gore and nudity (which I don't get why people are so afraid of. It's nudity, not necessarily sexuality)

great review every inch of this anime was artistic and had a messege even the fights i mean think of how each girl fought nu-nu(number 7)she didnt wanna hurt people so she used hers more for defense hell even in her rage when she fought the robo guy she couldnt kill him because that wasnt her as apart from lucy her killing was more revelant of sorrow the was unleashing the pain and sorrow that the world forced on her to everyone and mariko (34) she was destructive so her killing showed it

@luian90 I know it makes no sense for me to reply to a year old comment, but your comment here really bothers me. If a show/movie/song/whatever-form-­of-art makes you cry it means that both 1) you are in fact mature enough to understand the said art, and 2) The art touched you in the way the creator's probably intended. Why are either of those things bad?

*SPOILER* i found this anime both innocent and guilty. this is because the lead charecter (lucy) has split personallities, and when she is kyuu, she is "nice" and when she is lucy she is a killing machine. when she is kyuu, she does nothing cruel, or violent. when she is lucy... well she is an extreme killing machine. the other clones (i dont remember what theryre actually called) also progress throughout the anime also. nana is just plain old innocent, yet the other one no35startsevilbutturnsok

Would be sad and touching if it wasn't for the plot holes and cop out ending. So for me the most touching is kaiba. 10x better than EL

That was a damn good review, man. Commentary instead of a 1-10 rating is the way all anime reviews should be, because different things appeal to different people. And as far as I'm concerned, I agree with you 100%: when it comes to depth, meaning, and emotional value, Elfen Lied is almost unrivaled. Quite possibly the best anime I've ever seen. Keep up the reviews, bro, because you've got some great insight.
