Two brothers search for a wave lost in a brutal civil conflict in a nation where 20,000 UN troop remain to keep the warring factions apart. They find perfection in the surf and friendship on land in the tiny fishing outpost of Robertsport, Liberia.

It is out of shame that I regret my own peoples' plunder and neglect of Liberia, the promised land. I, along with the entire black American population, owe Liberia for our ancestors' greed. This film is very nice (one of the most culturally aware surfer films I've seen in a while). Hopefully more Liberians learn to surf. The ocean is beautiful there.
