Only 21% of Americans are willing to pay $100 more per year for cleaner energy and to counter global warming. Only 14% are willing to pay MORE than that amount.

But here's some facts you may not enjoy...

Climatologists agree that the estimates of the obama C&T by 2050 would moderate the earth's temps by 2/100's of a degree and 2/10's of a degree by the end of the century!

Scientists have not reached any concensus on climate change, more research is needed.

Research, of course, costs money. The devastating effects this bill will have on the already struggling economy will dramatically reduce the amount of climate change research that can occur. So in all actuality, this is ultimately a great disservice to the planet and an even greater disservice to the American public. Total scientific ignorance is NOT progress.

CherryPerson, Too true! But imagine if this passes, they're also talking about putting a tax on soft drinks due to the carbon gasses that are used to produce the product! Now talk about going after the middle and poor, that'll do it! For those that live comfortably, it won't be that big a deal for them!

Atmosphere-78% nitrogen-20%oxygen-0.247% watervapor -0.9%argon-0.03% co2!co2 itself is essential to photosynthesis in plants and other photoautotrophs, and is also a prominent greenhouse gas.95% of greenhouse gases is water vapor and less than 4%is co2 And most of the co2 is produced by Volcanoes anyway. And co2 is increased BY increased global temperature. i.e. the more active THE SUN = the more co2. These are scientific FACT'S all fact's

So I'm wondering, are you guys going to enjoy knowing that you are raising the energy bills of people who will be struggling to pay their bills because they'll be laid off due to cut backs caused directly by this bill... I pray it does not pass, as my job is one of the ones threatened by this bill.

Thank you all folks, we, as people living in our Earth, need this. All countries should be comprehensive and reduce their global warming emissions. Our future family, friends, everybody have all the right to enjoy the nature as clean and safe as possible. Thank you again, keep it up!
