it does not sound western or eastern


it sounds like an international song as all communist songs should.

Mao was a great leader of the glorious peoples republic but in his older age he started to make bad decisions. The Great Leap left millions dead of starvation.

Deng knew what he was doing, and fixed the economic problems and made China into the economic and powerful nation it is today..
but I still favor Mao as he found the glorious peoples Republic we have today.

Deng made some mistakes, as well.

No state with a huge population should ever be put under the leadership of a single man, because even the greatest make mistakes from time to time, and when we're talking millions of people a single mistake is a tragedy.

Today the CPC has realized this, and China's system of political leadership is maybe the best in the world.

I wholly agree. It is rather curious, no?
