Tribute to the Belgian airline which went bankrupt in 2001. Bankruptcy was caused by swissair who forced sabena to do things they preferred not to do ! When after 9-11-2001 costumers stayed away the end of Sabena was near...
After 78 years of service the proud of belgium, our own national airline, was gone !
Sabena was one of the leading pioneers in civil aviation, it was the first airline to link the African an European continent by air and did so until the end...

Sabena were fantastic, the best airline I ever flew with. I was so very sorry when they stopped flying.

I worked at Sabena for 23 years...and I still miss the company and the wonderful people I met and worked with. We were a family in every sense, and I have never found that again in any of the companies that I have worked for. I all Sabeneans will agree... nice video.

hij was de woordvoerder van de piloten, en heeft voor sabena gevochten!
