I remember my first exposure to Kate Bush. I was 17 or 18 and saw the video for "And so is love" from The Red Shoes. I went out and immediately began buying every album that I could find. She was so original and even though many drew comparisons to Tori Amos (or vice versa) no one else holds a candle to her pure ingenuity of style. Truely a brilliant artist!

@Rayneenights Yet it's ironic they do take themselves so seriously today, cos from Blurb to Oasis of drought, Skanks Aloud to Bolloxzone, The Unwanted to Non-Direction, JLS to Pariah Carey, Shitney Spears to Diarhianna, Leona Bleeding-headache Lewis to Bagdonna clone Gaga, Scouting For Girls (& brains) to Glee, they are all so amazingly embarrassingly crap, tuneless, with nothing to say but manufactured spouting, I don't know HOW they can be. Music is manufactured from recycled sewage today.
