  • Yeah thanks! Really like to see more of the ascent, not just the takeoff + a few minutes :)

  • @Hnepap Your welcome, same here

  • Love how you can see the rake's shadow at 0:40

  • what do you mean by the rake's shadow? I see the wings shadow, so i'm guessing you mean the tail, which i dont see?

see all

  • 2:50 hahaha sounds like soemthing exploded in the plane XD

  • to the person asking about winglets. the 767-400 has raked wingtips to give it better performance (the 777 is the same way) so there is no need to put winglets on this version of the 767

  • Nice description. I did not know this myself, and it makes perfect sense. I always thought planes had to take off at full power, but I guess not.

  • @koukoune25

This is not a short field takeoff contest. Usually you won't accelerate with full throttle in your car either. You try to be nice to your engine to save fuel. Same with an airplane. There are more than 13000ft runway in EDDF. Why try to takeoff within the first 6000ft?

So takeoff thrust is generally reduced or "de-rated" as we say...

  • Could you really feel the 9 hours cause im going dublin to atlanta soon and its the same, just curious if it feels very boring

  • awesome

  • this aircraft isn't very powerful. it seems to be stuck on the pavement

  • Screaming obscenities over the internet doesn't make me any less correct y'know....

...if you even knew WHAT A RAKED WINGTIP WAS, you can very clearly see that it's there in this video-- not that you'd need to, because all 767-400ERs have them standard anyways.

Next time, try something slightly more intelligent.... like, oh, I dunno... maybe Googling to see what one looks like, before making a fool out of yourself in this manner?

Just a suggestion. Here's another one: grow up.
