third try to get my flying wing to actually fly. it has a 38 inch wingspan that i cut out of foam bought from home depot. it has been dubbed "the persistent wing" by one of my friends because of the amount of time and effort it took to get it to actually fly like a wing. version 1.1 was underpowered and under propped, version 1.2 was nose heavy and flew like a brick (that was a spectacular crash). and now this third try must have been the charm. good thing i didn't give up because once again, it was the most satisfying feeling in the world to walk away from the flying field carrying 1 plane and not 10 pieces of it in a garbage bag! i really had to crank up my exponential after this flight because of how twitchy this thing is. good luck to all others out there that are trying to scratch build their first flying machine.

  • @Comfortkingach i think i got the basic measurements from rcgroups a long time ago. i have a newer wing that I'm experimenting on and will soon have a PDF of my B-2 wing available.

  • its not the plane thats wrong, its the pilot
