  • Great goals - the kind of individualism too often absent from today's game.

  • No sod put in a tackle. Epic fail.

  • Just think how good he would have been on a modern Premier League pitch. What a great player, and what a gentleman too.

  • @lemlin1967 And they know how to spell your name too.

  • @Bungieware hoddle was a fantastic player i agree, gray was the most natrurally gifted player of his generation had he played for man united he'd have been reveired as much as best

  • Fantastic goals. As a Spurs fan Hoddle was always my favourite midfielder, but this guy comes pretty close.

  • Both brilliant goals, the second especially should be much better known, but he wasn't such a glamorous publicity seeker as some more famous players i can think of. Scotland had great wingers at the time. Where did it go wrong? That Leeds team, some of us loved to hate them- sorry- but they were great, and part of so many happy memories.

  • absolute class , puts a smile on my face every time i watch it !!!

  • As a fanatical Liverpool supporter I have to say Eddie was a magician with the ball, and that is simply one of the the greatest goals of all time - top five ever deffo for me.

  • 2nd goal was pure genius
