I have been a windows user for a very very long time and I cant stand it anymore. I want to switch but I am stuck at a crossroads. Should I use Zorin OS 5.2, newest version of Ubuntu or newest version of Linux? So hard. One thing I know...I am switching. Any guidance would be great

@Yayakills Linux Mint 11 is using Gnome 2. Linux Mint 12 is MATE. I am using Mint 11 until it no longer gets updates in October. Then I will decide what to do from there. I will switch to one of the LTS versions of either Mint KDE, MATE or Cinnamon. There is no use switching to Mint now because MATE isn't that great in Mint 12. Wait until Mint 13 comes out and read the reviews. Both MATE and Cinnamon should be in good shape for that release. MATE is just a fork of Gnome 2x.
