  • I wonder if that's Bert Jansch applauding at the end of the clip....

  • No, it's the writer, Alexander Trocchi. He was the subject of the movie, Cain's Film.

  • shawn phillips was scalped by getting his hair caught in the prop of his outboard motor - OUCH!

  • "Shorn" Phillips ?? :))

  • but it's so funny that Davy goes about it as if there's no one there. really her inane attempts to be free or show off or whatever prove to be so incongruous with what's going on she somehow improves the spectacle by providing an uncanny disparity

  • I love how oblivious graham is to the chick swingin' in front him

  • @lupine22 Thanks very much...

  • It looks like roger waters.

  • @shockingblue55 Isn't it!!

  • @shockingblue55 I was very close to posting exactly the same thing!! You are soooo right!

  • This dancing is so 1960s....

  • Wow----Shawn Phillips literally lifted so much from this guy! And the obnoxious, rude chick has GOT TO GO! Sit down honey --- I can't see what IS important (and it ain't you).

  • Makes me miss the old days. Things were tangible. Anyone who thinks that Mr. Graham was not totally aware of the dancer ... is missing the obvious.

  • Is that the same bird who is in the cry me a river vid who sits down and stares at him like she means it? Thats one strange bird right there.

  • search nicolas and the iceni vassal song. they write great folk music which has echoes of davy, drake and denny.

  • Please don't fall into the idea that if one musician plays a musical phrase in a way that is similar to other's work, then they "ripped him off". this kind of influence has been going on forever. Everything played in music influences everything else. It is a mistake to think that there is boundaries. Mutual influence is a good thing.
