Watchman Nee - The Spiritual Man

Watchman Nee became a Christian in mainland China in 1920 at the age of seventeen and began writing in the same year. In 1952 he was imprisoned for his faith; he remained in prison until his death in 1972. His words remain an abundant source of spiritual revelation and supply to Christians throughout the world.

hey stopfear...have no fear...the lords recovery is for 1..not a cult!!how you come to that conclusion is beyond me..iv been in the church life for 18 years and couldnt see myself any where else,i tried other churches but they jus didnt cut the mustard sorry, then i found the church life and well the rest is history....the writings of watchman and brother lee hit home,they dnt dance around issues..smack dab in the heart and spirit is where they reach..you should try reading them..u mite enjoy

@tonibarnett01 I have a great respect for Watchman Nee, but Witness Lee perverted Nee's teachings. As a result, many today lump Watchman Nee in with Witness Lee, which is quite tragic.

@stack45ny I have read the normal Christian life and was very blessed by it, allthough I dont know very much about Watchman Nee or his theology . I notice you upload alot of Reformed vids, would you consider Watchman Nee to be Reformed ?

@JuniorReid13 No he wasn't reformed, but although I consider myself reformed, that doesn't mean I cannot glean something from someone like Nee.

I didn't know Watchman Nee before and just ordered some books from campus crusade randomly. I read his book and immediately I feel so joyful. At that time I found most of church were spiritually dead, I didn't think God is real anymore but God can use Watchman Nee to enlighten me. Thank you for Watchman Nee's message.

@StopFear "many people consider "Recovery Church" ,"Lord's Recovery" "Local Church" a cult." These were started by Witness Lee. If you're going to state that Watchman Nee was a cult leader, you better cite something he either did or wrote to prove your case.

Christian life should begin by reading the Holy Bible. Just in case you didn't know many people consider "Recovery Church" ,"Lord's Recovery" "Local Church" a cult. Now I don't know if you know about it or not. You might be thinking "WHAT!? No way!" I had personal experiences with them and I had no idea that there were accusations of them being a cult, so I just asked the guys who brought me to the Bible study about what it was, and they lied to me. Chances are you're being lied to

I only discovered Watchman Nee recently and he is just what I was looking for - a completely clear mind, free of anything but the ability to go the essence of everything, the Richard Feynmann of the Christian world !!
