Many thanks - I was not sure what position had been recommended by my therapist. I had been given a makeshift product (foam that was taped on) which proved to cause even more pain in use. But i had been able to modify the plan using a regular leather heel grip- which had a light and narrow padded ridge , when taped to my foot sticky side to the tape, was perfectly supporting without pain :) I could now walk in my gumboots :) Thank-you for clarifying position and tips for adhering to innersole.
