Sussex County New Jersey Tornado EF2 7/29/2009

Since there is no real good footage of the tornado it self. I thought it would be best to put the local news reports about the storm up on youtube. Enjoy.

July 29th 2009 Sever thunderstorm warning that produced an EF2 tornado in Sussex county New Jersey. This was only two mile from my house in Wantage. These are the news stories from channel 7 eyewitness news new york.

you guys are all being stupid, this was a freak incident. new jersey hardly ever gets tornadoes, like once every twenty years or so. and your all worrying your heads off if there will be more tornadoes.

@TheSpellerbee - actually new jersey does get tornadoes. And they do not occur every twenty years.

It was only like 3 mile from my house. Think this is just the beging of many summers ahead of bad weather.

Ummmm Dude we have been getting tornados alot lately........... And new jersey doesnt get tornados every 20 years like every year or two it happens.....

@brcgreen there was a tornado yesturday says my grandpa i was with my cousins and we took our dogs and ent to the basement because the rain was heavy with hail and my grandpa saww everything spinning arond.there was destruction on the streets in our area.we live in jersey

@steve9509 i been in that situtian i was in the area when the tornado was gonna happen on the past summer and it had like 2 or 3 watches in less than month 3 or 2 TORNADO watches and it was insane i was playiing with my friends and out of knowhere the sky gets dark in 30 seconds and the sky got greenish and then it got windy like 60 or 50 or more mph of the wind and the door slammed on my face when i went outside to feel the wind it was like a rollercoater but deadly

I live about ten minutes away from where that tornado was. Everyone was panicking about this, but everyone in my family was more interested in the man who tried to sue Quick Check for getting attacked by a bear for a sandwich (that happened not to long before the tornado). There was also another one, on Lower Union in Wantage I think. I can't remember that far back.
