I always love how the media, ND fans, etc. act as though ND is still an elite program. Here's just a plain and simple fact: ND hasn't been a bona fide national title contender since 1993. Since that time, they've been a DECENT team more often than not, but rarely much above that. And especially in today's landscape of parity in college football, it's doubtful at best that ND will ever dominate the game the way they once did.

good for your wimpy win ND, which you only won by 3 LOL! we would have tied the ball game anyway and win the game in OT. but what was the final score last year for MSU and ND rivalry game? oh ya 23-7. The reason why msu won by that much is because of the defensive was all around Jimmy Clausen sackin him. Oh and Tate's jump on the msu band is definitely not sportsmanship. LOL! Your talent gap is finally closing?! Notre Dame has always had better overall talent on their roster than Michigan State, and yet your pathetic coaches rarely get the job done.

Better hope Jimmy comes back next year. You don't want to have to replace your whole OL and your QB and expect to win many games, especially with that sloth still on your sidelines calling the shots.
