  • Key word there is "scream". Matt Bellamy doesn't scream, he sings.

  • @jkcheese Thom Yorke also holds it for 20 seconds at the end of Rabbit In Your Headlights. The song he did with DJ Shadow. I also like what Thom Yorke does at the end of Radiohead's The Trickster. He holds a long note and ends up yodeling near the end.

  • Ok dude who says Matt doesn't scream. You honestly believe thats not a scream as a singer it takes everything you've got to do what hes done there and hes playing piano.

  • How is that even possible ? Does he have a third lung or something ? Most perfect in the world :)

  • he's done longer notes then that i think, NO ONE CAN UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER THAT LIES WITHIN MATTHEW BELLAMY!

  • I can hold a note for amlost a minute!

  • What about the almighty Rob Halford at the end of Painkiller? I think that's over 20 seconds.

  • @feelthless love that song! although i think that's why the uploader of this video put "scream" instead of just scream - he doesn't especially scream unless he's doing a falsetto note like in say, Shrinking Universe :)

  • @FallenWarrior7

    WTF!?

    are you dumb or what?

  • @knucklestails11 Thom Yorke and Matt Bellamy are both amazing vocalists xD

  • Here's a long note then a phrase without a breath lasting 20 seconds at 3.23

    watch?v=DJYyqzUr6jU

  • @agk971 Yeah. They're both great bands, it's a shame the fandom rivalry gets to hilariously stupid extents. I think I enjoy Radiohead more as well but there's no denying how absolutely monstrous Muse live performances are. Radiohead are good too but Thom's voice doesn't hold up very well these days, I've found :\
