Sonia Lee Secretary

Hi I'm Sonia Lee and I am running for secretary. I've been on the swim team for 6 years
and soccer for five, so I know what it's like to be a team player! Cooperation and team effort are
some of the most important traits of a good and effective student council. I want to be a part of
that and help our freshman year be our most unforgettable! As a class secretary, I will let
everyone know what happens in student council. And vice versa -- I'll let council know what
everyone wants to see happen. I will create and maintain a class website where I will write
newsletters, put a place where you can submit ideas, surveys, calendars, and even pictures and
comments from school events! I will go a step further and not only let your opinions be heard,
but also make it as equally important as those in the student council. In that way, I promise to
represent our class. So what are my qualifications? I am very organized, very responsible, and
very on top of everything. I also love planning things. I LOVE being involved in school
activities. I'm on water polo team, and I've been to gym jam and all of the poster makings. Not
because I'm obligated to, but because I love it! I am also very enthusiastic! Activities, such as
spirit week and rallies, are important for class unity. I'll encourage others to join and keep
connected, by being an example. I really believe that class unity is very important because
you're only a freshman once... so why not do it right? Altogether, as the Class of 2015, let's
show Monta Vista what the new kids are made of! I hope you trust me as your new secretary,
