Superchargers seem to be more popular on the UZ and UR series motors, but man they are a PITA to tune that way because the don't deal with HOT boost at low RPM very well. You have to sacrifice alot of power to keep them from knocking down low. With a turbo setup boost comes in later, and its intercooled so it makes tuning them alot less headache and the power potential is MUCH greater.

The tranny is completely stock, and the reason why we stopped at the power we did. That and its a show car, not really for racing, the customer wanted a turbo setup for show that was fully functional with a graph to show.

I'm a nubbie in the import game. But surely they have more tunning to do. Maybe the name of the game isn't 1,000hp, but there has to be more power coming out of those turbo's?

Its a single turbo.. The broze things are the cam covers. The turbo sits right behind the passenger headlight.

Where is your shop located? I have the same car and I've been trying to find a turbo kit for it but can't. Looks like you guys did a good job here. How much did you charge this customer (in total) to install this turbo and have it dyno tuned? Any help would be appreciated.

Can someone explain to me the cost of this mod, the 0-60mph effect, the quarter mile speed, the horsepower and the purpose?
