I noticed it one time when watching this movie with a friend that something sounded really weird. You can clearly tell when you watch the movie that in this scene its not the little girls voice. Kinda sounds like a dude almost or i don't even know trying to sound like a little girl.

funnily enough the creepiest aspect about this is not the badly dubbed voice but the fact that a little girl is going to play alone in the basement with a creepy old and possibly drunk man

Love Summer Rental, have it on dvd. But yes, always noticed that her voice was dubbed in that scene, especially when compared to others scenes where she speaks. Maybe it was too much of a challenging line for someone so young at the time.

@colorthesky92 It doesn't matter, it is still a disturbingly bad dub. It's clearly not Yorku's voice - lets be honest he can barely manage English - and it ain't Laurie's either. It's like the devil is speaking through them. Mom doesn't seem too fazed though so I guess she's into that.
