Is it possible to have users work on the shared document simultaneously (concurrently)? Or is it only one user at a time?

I've not found it works well for synchronous editing. Multiple people can watch, but only one edit - otherwise all the edits don't get saved. I'm not aware of programs allowing for simultaneous editing of docs online. Anyone else?
