The Recycled Peace Drum was built at the City Museum in St. Louis at the beginning of August 2011. As Pick Up America traverses the country picking up litter, we try to make use of some of the stuff we find. Here's our Recycled Peace Drum. It's made of scrap materials that ended up in the Mississippi River one way or another. This song you hear became our obsession while picking up litter Summer 2011. It's also extremely fitting for our work. Stay tuned to hear the actual drum.
