Baby Green Anole hatchling hunting fruit flies

One of my green anole (anolis carolinensis) eggs hatched on October 6th. Here the baby anole, which is about 2 inches long including the tail, is hunting flightless fruit flies and licking water off of the branch in the small enclosure where I keep the eggs.

what do you do to the eggs when they get laid?

I've had the best luck when I just leave them alone, but some sites say to carefully move them to an incubator - making sure not to turn the eggs, as the baby will suffocate if the eggs get put the wrong way.

How long did it take for it to start eating on its own? Did you have to "teach" it at first?

@turoksniper Draw a "T" on the top of the egg and make sure the "T" is facing up at al times. If you have it sideways,downward,upward,upsid­e down, or right side up then the baby anole will suffocate! Make sure the " T " is facing up. The egg will be laid sideways so draw the "T" on top of the egg and make sure it stays that way.

@ casper5126 Male anoles are obviously larger. All young anoles have a white stripe on their back. When they are full-grown the male will lose the stripe... but the female will keep it. :)
