http://MPGomatic.com drops the hammer on a 2010 Mazda6 s Grand Touring for a 0-60 MPH acceleration test. This Mazda6 is equipped with a 3.7L V6 and six-speed automatic transmission. Test performed with ESC on.
@sleeksilver It was a really good car excluding the engine. Some thing's just weren't *up to par* for long term quality in my opinion. There have been reports online of other people having the same issue's, and there have been others who have had no problems whatsoever. Hyundai is a good company and they are headed in the right direction, I would be temped to purchase another non-turbo Hyundai in the future, but this is their first turbos so not right now.+I never realized how good AWD is now :)
Wow, that's really unfortunate. Sorry to hear about that.
There are three Sonata 2.0Ts in my parking lot at work and they've been flawless. One guy commutes from PA to Northern VA every single day and already has over 15,000 miles on it.
Did you still like it, if you didn't factor in your negative experience?
@sleeksilver It was a POS, I didn't even have the chance to sell it. At less than 1000 miles, the turbo charge pipe became detached, repaired 2 times, by 1300 miles the entire turbo went out and a few other things were wrong and it was purchased back in accordance to the state laws. After all was said and done I just decided on a 2012 Legacy
@Turbo2012Sonata Thanks! She's been good to me. (Knock on wood). And yeah, I save my money for car things before anything else. Only thing I wouldn't want with the legacy is the ride height. I enjoy my OBS cause I don't worry about anything. If traffics busy, and I see no popo, I just went over the median. haha. That was only once though. And I had to cut through a parking in a hurry and it was an older building and the parking lot had a huge dip to the road, no problem with my OBS.
@SubieSean Thats a great first car! The H6 sounds fantastic, I'm going to upload some video's of my exhaust from the outside. Its stock, but sounds good. I saved up a crap load to get this car :) Cars are my thing and I can sacrifice eating out as much and whatever else to get this. Any Subaru has a special place in my heart. The 2.5i is a great engine and great gas milage with Subaru's awesome AWD!
@Turbo2012Sonata I'm super jealous. I have a '99 Outback Sport right now and I love it. It's my first car and I bought with my own money so Im super proud of it. With 137k and 13 years old shes a champ. I love the way the H6's sound. I'm looking into a 2005-2007 Legacy. I wish I could afford the GT, but that also comes with higher insurance, and most likely tickets. haha so I think I'll settle with the 2.5i.
@SubieSean Its a 2012, its actually the 3.6R Limited H-6 w/ Moonroof and Nav. Opted for that over the GT for the smooth quick shifting automatic :). The quality of this car doesn't reflect its $33,000 price tag, it feels more like 40 or 50 to me. Put a 0-60 video of it on my channel along with my old 2012 Sonata 2.0T :) Engine sounds great!
