Team Fortress 2 - Ubercharge & Telefrag

A little experiment I ran to see what would happen if you try to telefrag an ubercharged enemy standing on your teleporter.

For those of you who don't know what telefragging is, it's when you kill an enemy by going through a teleporter while the enemy stands on the exit.

My guess was that it would either kill the person standing on the teleporter, or the person going through the teleporter. The final result was -- I'll let you watch.

A little bug, you don't see the beam going from the Medic to the Soldier, because I started recording the demo from after I started healing, and it didn't register it.

I have some more ideas of things I'd like to try, so give me your comments & thoughts!

its the same thing as if you teleported two people to the same location or they spawn on top of each other.

Well, the difference is when people spawn on each other, they're on the same team, and when you teleport by map-porting, it doesn't kill you if you're not ubered.

For some reason on my TF2 game Ubers look like dark RED or BLU armor around them, but on this there shiny, liquid like RED or BLU?! Whats wrong? My computer screen is DELL and my computer is Dual BIOS (tm). Please PM me if you can!

You need to upgrade your video card, that's all. Older video cards can't render the effect of the ubercharge, and end up looking a bit "stone-like."

That's weird, it should be the other way around. Did you go through a teleporter recently, because maybe it recognized you as the person who teleported, and killed him.

lol it's fixed now. the uber that's standing on top of the teleporter dies instantly if u try this now.

it has been patched to kill ubered players.

thankfully, and sadly this has changes. know the person standing on the exit, ubered or not, dies. ive seen it happen, ive had it happen.
