@OriginalOrigins I've found against any decent opponent no martial arts moves work perfectly, I tried jujitsu went to like 8 classes got my ass kicked every time. But I am getting better learned some escapes now I do much better.

@OriginalOrigins A lot of judo throws are like that. But think of it like a clock. In a regular stand up position,(feet half a shoulders witdth a part) you will have balance on your 12, 6, 9, and 3. Throws aiming towards these areas are pointless, however, you are off balance on your angles mainly 4 and 8. In addition, many throws take out a lead leg forcing your off balance, or twist a joint in a way that forces you to fall, or break that joint if you don't fall with them.

Why would they go for a throw from a back mount position? That's the position you want to be rear naked choke, or triangle, or punches to the head. I find it kinda pointless to throw your opponent to the ground from a position on their back. Also, alot of these throws require that your opponent is grabbing you a certain way, I don't think in most situations your opponent is going to grab you in the ideal way needed for you to throw them. But I learned some cool take downs. Nice video.

Anything before a blackbelt is fairly meaningless? That's a first.

@brianspost75 put a veteran wrestler against a veteran judo wrestler and tell them both to stand up straight like in this video and preform these moves, i guarantee not one works, but in a fight or a match when your off balance off course they will work

@OriginalOrigins untrue statement.
