http://www.filmsensei.com - In this Episode of Film Sensei, Mat Nastos discusses his newest toy, the Canon HV20 HDV camera. One of the coolest new HDV cameras I've seen in a long time is the Canon HV20. It puts out some remarkable video straight out of the box, but, better yet, there are a ton of accessories you can add on to make your HV20 an absolute indie or guerilla filmmaking monster. If you're making a low budget film and need a great camera at a low price then you're going to want to check out my work-in-progress Canon HV20 camera rig.

  • where did you get that metal hood thing at? i like that a little better then the HUGE xl a1 hood.

  • @lakai4187 It is a Cinecity hood. Check out filmsensei (dot) com for more info and a link.

  • Cool device you've got! )) Just wanted to ask your opinion about Raynox 6600 Pro compared to wd-h43. Some people say the Raynox tends to lose focus when zoomed in...

  • @Munchhauzen I've had no real problems with the Raynox and prefer it to the Canon lens. If for no other reason than the Canon has no filter threads.

  • does the sgm-1x microphone show up in the fiilming as it seems to be quite long?

  • @sachitbogra Not at all. Well out of range of the lens, even with a wideangle on.

  • @niftycomics what lense is that ?

  • @sachitbogra All I'm using is a tiny Flip cam (not even an HD Flip).

  • @BGIFilms I use one from the CineCity on eBay. Check out Film Sensei (dot) com for more info and a link.

  • @treenut22 If you check out my Film Sensei (dot) com website, you can find links to everything I talk about.

  • @alfredonski Correct. You can get adapters to go up in size, tho.

  • @TheBranquignol I haven't found a reliable test anywhere. You can find some that were put up by the CineCity guys, but I don't completely trust company tests. I just haven't taken the chance on one yet.

  • @cashimirs I found it on Amazon. Check out my site, FilmSensei (dot) com, for specific links on all the pieces of my rig.
