  • you're a god. i need to know how you learned to play that fast. is there something i can practice that will get my fingers to move like that?

  • haha!!!!!i like that GOD!!!!Anyway,i'm elated that someone gave me a compliment like that i don't know what to say... but anyway, the technique on this one is primarily legato-so work going up and down the neck chromatically with your hammer on's and pulloff's.When you build up enough strength in the fingers, you should be able to pull of scalular licks like this one with ease. And of course, play everything VERY slowly at first to the most discreet detail.

  • Pssh, you think this is fast, look up Jason Becker or Shawn Lane. Using legato ALL the time, to me, is easy. I'd rather mix both alternate and legato. Eh.
