Guitar Monologue 1

This is for anyone who happens to be interested in my style and wants to see what I noodle on or how I've developed, stuff like that... yeahhh....

It's been a long time since I uploaded anything, so this is an "organized noodle session" where I'm trying to be as coherent as possible while playing various techniques of mine. I'll be posting a few of these videos in the coming days.

id love to do them all but the hardest part for me is making the backingtrack to play over, even more than learning how to play them by ear on the guitar

1st comment! jk, but anyways, it sounds good. I like whatever scales you use. Sort of soothing. I like the style its sort of visceral or w.e yet organized somehow. It would be cool to hear more from you!

thanks! im using the ol' faithful major scale, but with lots of tasty distant intervals and a shitload of stacked fourths (i think? just a bunch of fourths and shit, man im smart), and a lot of suspended chords. thats why it sounds soothing and visceral.

still working on trying to do a zappa vid... not sure how to record the backingtrack along with the solo with my new setup, but it'll hit me soon.
