Part 2 of 5
A live fan recording from the York University 10/14/72. As with many vintage concert recordings, it has some flaws, but it's worth the ride. This tape has never sounded better,as I extracted a lot of audience noises and coughing( oh those harsh little brass hash pipes from India : ) LOL ) but a few coughs, and assorted glitches remain.Aside from pro recordings, this is possibly the best fan tape left to us.
So spool back to the din of yesteryear as fair Sandy takes the stage.....
The set is divided into 5 parts( you might like to use You Tube's Quicklist function and arrange the parts for continuous playing )
Here's the whole set ( coming in 5 posts )
IT'LL TAKE A LONG TIME (sound improves on other songs )
BUSHES AND BRIARS
SWEET ROSEMARY
IT SUITS ME WELL
THE SEA CAPTAIN
TOMORROW IS A LONG TIME
THE LADY
JOHN THE GUN
THE QUIET JOYS OF BROTHERHOOD
LATE NOVEMBER
THE MUSIC WEAVER
Also the flower featured in the visual graphic is the Sandy Denny lily, named in her honor.
almost sounds like dulcimer on Sweet Rosemary
