@hulk3606 It is custom, I bought some PVC parts and connected it with silicone couplers with a K&N air filter on the end.

sweet ride man im doing same swap in a 72 camaro . I wanna get a magnaflow full exhaust do i get the ls1 camaro exhaust from them or the 72 camaro exhaust from them would the ls1 exhaust fit and what did you go with thnx sorry for the long question

You retain its original apearance inside the interior and the outside comvine with the ls1 engine can get any better.

I have 69 too and want to install a ls engine

Do you have any rought idea how much you spend in parts not including the engine and transmission,

To me looks very complicated, so I will have to hired someone to do it

The donor car that I have is a 2000 z28 camaro automatic

@projectcortez thanks for the reply, year full restoration will take about 8-12 months depending on condition, i was just wondering about just the ls1 swap only, and from what you said that sounds good to me, i have done a few engine rebuilds on a few 67 mustangs, so im guessing as long as you have a pair of good hands, it will be pretty simple? thanks again

I would say it was a 3 on a scale from 1-10. We made our own motor mounts because we felt the quality was better then whats out there in the aftermarket. Used stock ECU and have a custom tune, custom wire harness. Depending on the condition of the car is how long it would take. If you do a ground up, every nut and bolt replaced that will take a little bit but a simple engine swap maybe a month.

on a scale 1-10 how hard was the LS1 swap?

basically you just need correct engine mounts, complete ECU or aftermarket?? and download the wiring diagram from somewhere and good to go?

how long did it take you to do it, is this your first swap like this?
